How long does IV therapy take?
IV infusions typically take around 30-45 minutes depending on the type of IV infusion you’re receiving. If you’re receiving an NAD+ infusion, this can take anywhere between 3 to 5 hours. We recommend bringing a book, headphones, your computer, etc. to your appointment to enjoy while you sit back and relax! Our staff will also offer you a complimentary tea, coffee, or water, and can provide you with a blanket as well to keep you comfortable.
Are there Side Effects?
Side effects from IV nutrient infusions are rare by may include vein irritation, pain at the site of infusion, lowering blood sugar, lowering blood pressure, lightheadedness or dizziness, rash, upset stomach, fatigue following infusion, muscle cramps or weakness, nausea, flushing, sweating or headaches.
Is there anything I should do before my appointment?
Always drink 2 large glasses of water (24 oz.) before and after your treatment. Being well hydrated will make inserting the IV easier and will help your kidneys to more easily flush toxins and heavy metals from your body. There is no need to fast before your infusion.
How long do the effects last?
Effects vary between individuals and their current state of health as well as diet and activity level. Some people need a series of infusions every week or two until they feel optimized and some only need infusions during times of increased stress or illness. Discuss your goals and expectations with us to make an individualized wellness plan.
Do you offer customized treatments not listed on your website?
We will gladly have a consultation in which we can discuss your unique concerns and create a fully customized infusion. We also offer testing to better assess nutrient deficiencies, toxic exposure, oxidative stress, and mitochondrial function.
